Pioneer Organization in the Abrasive Products Sector

Karbosan, Turkey's first abrasive wheel manufacturer, started its production activities in 1967 with 40 employees in a factory established on an area of ​​9,000 m2 in Halkalı, Istanbul.
Today, it offers its products to more than 90 countries in 6 continents with a total of more than 700 employees and a closed area of ​​more than 95,000 m2.
Karbosan, which has grown rapidly thanks to investments made in innovation and R&D studies, has a very wide product range for perfect surfaces.
With nearly 60 years of experience in the production of high-quality abrasive wheels, Karbosan has established all its processes, from raw material supply to after-sales services, on meeting the needs and expectations of its customers with high performance.
Karbosan is the first company in Turkey to implement the ISO 9001 Quality Management System in abrasive wheel production, and to be a member of the European Abrasive Manufacturers Federation (FEPA) and the Abrasive Safety Organization (OSA) with its high-quality production.
The quality of Karbosan products has been documented by the Turkish Standards Institute with TS EN 12413 certificates for abrasives and TS EN 13743 certificates for abrasive products. Karbosan carries out its production in accordance with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System in a nature-sensitive manner, taking into account environmental impacts at every step from raw materials to the presentation of the product to customers.
