Energy Policy

As Karbosan, with the awareness of our responsibility for the Energy Management System, we aim to continuously improve energy performance in all our activities, making it environmentally and economically sustainable. In this context, we commit to:

• Complying with all applicable national and international energy legislation, standards, and other requirements for which we are responsible,
• Using energy and natural resources efficiently in all our production and processes, and continuously improving our energy performance and management system by conducting energy efficiency studies and improvement projects and reviewing them regularly,
• Following technological developments and considering alternative energy sources that minimize negative impacts,
• Using our energy and natural resources efficiently with a sustainable development approach, and conducting effective and transparent activities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions,
• Preferring renewable resources and adopting environmentally friendly production technologies,
• Enhancing the energy awareness of employees, suppliers, customers, and stakeholders across the organization,
• Minimizing energy losses and making the most of gases and waste heat generated,
• Prioritizing energy-efficient technologies and practices in the improvement of production facilities and in the procurement of new equipment and services for investment activities,
• Integrating the documented Energy Management System into our corporate governance practices, and periodically reviewing and improving it along with its targets.
